New to the Forum- have questions about 335i
Hey guys- great site!
Just wondering if someone could help me out a bit. I just got a used 09 E93 yeaterday. Always wanted one and found the right one... so here are my questions 1: I know I want a computer programmer/reflash to help the car open up some more. So I always thought that the JB4 was what everybody recommended for best bang for buck- but now see that they have procede and Cobb. Whats the thoughts on this? I just plan on doing the Down pipe and maybe exhaust. I also would like to be able to remove it when taken to the dealer so it wont void my warranty. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 2: I have navigation and onder the armrest there is an AUX input, but no USB. There is a USB input but in the glove box. Does this mean that I cant control my IPOD music on the main screen? 3: is there a way to have the mirrors fold automatically by shutting the car off and then having them unfold when you turn the car on? 4: is there a way to open or close the convertible top from the remote? 5: What mod order do people recommend for a good daily driver set up. thanks in advanced guys! Im located in Miami if anyone has something local for sale too. |

1. Cobb is a flash, JB4 and Proceede are "piggybacks" that actually connect inside your ECU, they both work great, I personal have Cobb because I like the AP that works as a boost gauge and all the other things you can do with it.
2. If there is no Aux you don't have Aux. You can't control your iPod on the screen. It not a big deal. 3. Not sure, I think there is one button that closes them by the adjustment in the car. 4. Not sure, I don't have a removable top. 5. Tune > Dp's > FMIC > DCI great DD setup. |

Those would require coding the car. A lot of places charge $100 per code for something like that. There is an entire section on the forum about it, and people who will do it cheaper can be found there. I know it can be done with the mirrors, but I don't know about the convertible top.

Theres a computer i've seen that you can install and it allows you to open and close the top with the key fob, also allows you to open and close the top while driving.

Look in the vendor section, he has great prices. Just ask him what the best price he can do on one. |
