Installing new pads/rotors/sensors for a 330i

I'm not too familiar with BMWs, (more Subarus / Audis), but my mother asked me to do her front pads/rotors/sensors in her e90, and was just curious the best value aftermarket parts I could purchase for her. The goal is to save money from not purchasing from the stealership. Should I use ceramic or semi-metallic pads?

I was considering the prem. slotted/dimpled rotors from here:

http://brakeperformance.com/brake-ro...ake-Rotors.php and they come with a set of pads and free shipping as well, which is tempting. Then just picking up the sensor the stealership.

Thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

OEM are known to be very good IMO. If you decide to go that route, Tischer (www.getbmwparts.com) has specials on the brake kit - pads rotors sensors and grease, and free shipping.

From your link I like the slotted rotor setup. I just purchased a set of slotted EBC USR blackdash rotors.

Looking at the link for the slotted rotors on the site, it looks to be the same generic part number as centric, powerslot, cquence rotors

34077 (at least for my 328 )

I also went with the Akebono pads

The OEM rotors just seem very expensive. I figure if I can get better for the $, why not? I see a lot of people saying good things about the zimmerman/cool carbon combo?

OP, did you end up ordering from there? I am shopping now, and it seems like a good deal, but the pads do not have a brand listed. Was it legit?
