COBB Stage 1 Aggressive is 313 WHP / 378 TQ, so we're getting additional 15 WHP and 34 TQ with Stage 1 +FMIC isn't bad at all.. Also that was with a XI, im guessing the numbers for just 2 wheel drive will be higher on the Dyno?

Ok, I just went to fix an issue I had with updating the firmware and it updated to a "version: 1650-2930" which I assume is a beta. When I unchecked the box for beta updates, it went back to the previous v301. Anyone have ideas on what this beta might include/change??

Been bouncing all over the place trying ot figure out the best route to go with for a tune and I am leaning heavily toward Cobb. Currently I do not have any additional mods and will probably stay that way for some time (Have alot of warranty left). I would like to add some power to the tank to keep up with some of the stock lightly modded coupes and sedan. I have access to 93 octane here and after looking at some of the dyno charts and gains from just the 93 Octane stock maps seems like there is a signifcant increase in HP/TQ. I have gone through alot of the pages here lots of good info.

I just wanted to see if anything has changed in the last week or two and those who are running the stock maps could chime in with any issues they may have? As long as I reflash back to stock and unmarry its undetectable for any dealership work right?

Ive had the cobb for a few months now and I haven't had a single issue with the cobb. Its a great tune. I actually had the car on a dyno last week on a dynocom(similar readings to a mustang) dyno: w/o the flash it made 283rwhp/300rwtq and with the flash it made 332rwhp378rwtq. That about 50hp and 80ftlbs at the wheels. Ohh, and that is 100% stock otherwise including the factory paper air filter. Its amazing how that actually feels.

Got my Cobb accessport from Alan************.com and I have nothing but great things to say about his service and of course the product. I had an issue where my rom wasn't supported and Alan took the time to walk me through the process to get that resolved. Most other vendors would simply tell you to figure it out on your own and that's if you can get them on the phone to begin with. I'm running the stage 1 sport linear map and the power delivery is very consistent throughout the entire power brand. There are no hiccups like the jb4 piggyback systems at all! I've been running the stage 1 tune on the car for a few thousand miles now and have not experienced any reliability issues. All in all, kudos to **********s for the great deal/support and Cobb for an excellent product!

Replaced the coil in cyl 3, no help. Seems to run fine on the sport tunes, just not aggressive. Cobb states that the car is pulling timing from cyl 3 due to a mechanical issue. Problem is, it's not like I can take it to BMW and tell them there's a misfire on the Cobb aggressive tunes.
Beyond the coil and plug, what else could I be looking at?

It most likely a bad injector causing your misfire.

Hey Cobb, do you guys plan to get Stage 2 out of beta, Stage 2 throttle maps or Stage 1+FMIC first? A list of order would be real nice to the people who are waiting

Hopefully all at the same time! But most likely you will see Stage 1 + FMIC in Beta first, and then Stage 2 out of beta with stock style throttle maps. Just depends on the progress we are able to make, so things could change. But, this is our plan for now!

Thats real good news, causing taking my DPs on and off for warranty is expensive as hell... Rather use just FMIC till warranty is over

Cobb,

Is there an estimate ETA on when Stage 1 plus FMIC will drop? I've been in contact with Rob in the past few months and don't mind beta testing it

I would as well.. I usually take my car once a year for a 1/4 mile run to see how it's performing (usually when it gets cooler out - like now).
