will swapping rubber be ok, need tire guidance..

summer setup (bone stock):

front 18x8 on 225/40/18
rear 18x8.5 on 255/35/18

winter setup (CSLs):

all 18x8.5 on 225/45/18 (Dunlop winter performance tires)

So I am thinking I may fall in love with my CSL replicas, and want to run them in the summer too. So was thinking of just swapping rubber between the 2 sets. I think this should be ok, only concern is minor differences in configurations. Comments/suggestions?

I still have not bought my winter rubber, would you recommend a different size tire?

Why not get a set of 19" CSLs and tires for the summer? :P

rather stick with 18" rubber, cheaper..and not sure i am going to swap CSLs for summer, may just keep CSLs as winter setup in which case 19" winter is OUT of the question.

Its ok to swap tires but Its really hard with runflats. I would recommend running the stocks for winter and csls for summer. Plus a non staggered setup wont get you the greatest traction with your summer tires.
