Q's about falken fk-452s
hey i have been considering falken fk-452s along with toyos(in my other threads). the falkens have a great tread wear rating and good performance. at least they seem to. INPUT PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i really need to find what tire is the right one for me. one with good porformance that lasts long and i think the falkens r the ones.

I got the FK452 on my wheels right now. No complaints so far. I like the fact these tires are square and offer some rim protection. I use to have Toyo T1Rs. Eventhough the T1Rs had good traction I didn't like that they looked stretched on my wheels and offered zero rim protection.

I have them on my wheels too, great tire, but not as good as my old Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R's, still a very very good tire. Side wall is straight and not all stretched. Very good tire in my opinion, and I've run everything from michelin Pilot sports, Pilot Sport Cup's (DO NOT buy the pilot sport cup unless you plan on changing them in a month or two, tread wear is terrible but the traction is phenominal), to bridgstones, and now these falkens and I think they're great

Good tire with good wear, as long as you are not running some crazy suspension/camber set up, you should be fine. For the prices, they are good.

I didnt buy the falkens thinking that they were a cheapo tire, they just dont have as big of name as some of the other brands. I bought the Falken FK452 becuase I have 20'' wheels and my only other choice was the Pirelli and I hated it's tread design (a tire's tread design is some what important to me). Otherwise, I had some bridgestone potenza's on my 19'' wheels and they were great too. What Im saying is, dont skimp out on your tires or go cheap on them, get bridgestone potenza re-01r's, michelin pilot sport ps2, yokohama advans.......or any other premium tire. They make a big difference. I always tell people this: All of your modding, all the thousands spent on the car itself, the options....the suspensions.....all the modifications, all come down to four tiny patches of rubber that contact the road. So do your car and, everything else about, some justice and get a great set of tires. For grip, for comfort, for durability, for looks.

I don't have a BMW yet, but I run these tires on my SE-R and I love them. I had a set of FK-451s before, and now I have the FK-452 and I still think Falken makes a great tire. I'd reccommend them to anyone who is looking for a great tire with a great price.
