Looks like the guy that built the custom roll cage on my Miata race car has made some nice tow hooks for the E90 cars. Check out the link.

I will try to get a better picture of them...

Looks like he is charging $75 for one...and $150 for front and back.

That's like the ricer mod of club racers lol. Sometimes theres this VW gti around here who has non stock tow hooks and the red arrows and everything. I just laugh.

I have the same TC Design ones for my E46. My only concern is people stealing them. I've thought about using loctite to secure the pricey tow hooks.

TCD hooks are HOT, stock ones are boring and not baller.

I would only put them on when at the track...not any other time. Its to pull me out of the gravel at turn #2 at Laguna (never got stuck there..and never want to)

I leave em on, hardparking to the max. Never know when you might hit up some Canadian back roads.

Also, they were free.

Nice piece. I'm amazed other car manufacturers don't do the same thing. I saw an e46 get stuck in the sand trap one time and the tow truck pulled them out (using the front). I actually pulled my sister out (330ix) of the mud one time using the front. One of those long 5 day rains and while looking at houses, went off the road to do a U turn.

How about 4 wheels off at the exit of turn 3?

I thought I did it at turn T4...not T3...and I didnt think I had 4 off...I thought it was only two...LOL. I stayed in the throttle...which kept me out of more trouble. BTW, dont need tow hooks for there...only in the sand pits.

Did you to 4 off at T3?
