Northern Ireland Coast Run

Ok guys...

let's get this organised....

use this thread to give your ideas on route, dates, time, eateries etc. I'm guessing September when all the holidays are over and hopefully when we have better weather?

for me, sundays 13, 20 sept or 4 oct suit...

Usually any sundays work for me so any of those dates will suit.

As for location i'm not that sure of any roads on the north coast, mainly the coast roads around newcastle, around by kilkeel and warrenpoint area.

Any coast areas will have great food, but maybe some of the other members will have more input.

Try to avoid October 4th as that's the date of UK8 in the Lake District, to which I hope some of you N Ireland members might consider making the trip across for!

If the Irish meet were the weekend of the 5th-7th of September I'd give some consideration of an excursion overseas. No guarantee as yet, though, but definitely a consideration.

Was just going to ask the same question.

To WAG or not to WAG??

My partner doesn't mind going as she is quite interested in cars (Getting a bit scary how much she knows about them)

I just thought if I were going for the day, I may take the Monday off work and book in to a Hotel and make a weekend of the whole thing.
I'd like to see the GIANT's Motorway too

You may as well while you would be up this far, there is a few site's to see. Just wouldn't count on the weather as you may know.

We'll see this time if alpini really does own this car he has been posting about.

We should have a sweep as to what car he shows up in this time and what excuse he uses.
1) Skoda Fabia. 2) His Gran's car, cos the fluffle valve on his BM went faulty
