Getting Dinan exhaust on my 07 335i

So after trying the performance exhaust and finding it abnoxiously loud and raspy, I'm going for the more subtle 335is muffler system. I have ordered it already and will take 2 weeks to get here. Has anybody done this ? What were your impressions?
I wanted louder then stock but not PE loud, so I'm going for the is, although I was torn between the dinan exhaust as I heard its not as loud as the Pe, the only thing that held me back from getting the dinan was how ugly and noticeable those mufflers would be in the back. I'm getting the dinan hopefully I like the sound of it.

Garage List
I would of traded my IS exhaust with some $$ on top for your PE. What did you do with it?

Everything stock and when I got the pe it was just way to loud and raspy. And on cold start really sounded like a motorboat. So my experience with the PE wasn't the greatest.

Have you tried installing the PE with the E90 resonator midpipe ? it sounded perfect. I'm driving with the PE installed with resonator for two months now and the brand new N55 midpipe is still sitting in the garage.

Good idea to install with the E90 resonator mid-pipe. However, I thought the N55 does not have the resonator?

I had a similar experience with the PE but when I went back to stock I still have what I consider drone at 2000 rpm. I would like to quieten the car with the stock exhaust. Mine is a RWD so it does not have secondary cats either.

^ I bought the n55 mid pipe when I got the PE and thought to myself that I want that Ferrari like drone, but after driving it for a while with the E90 resonator and cat, it grew on me love the subtle sound. Now, I'm also contemplating if I should sell the PE and go back to stock since this is my daily driver !
