Hopefully after they work out the bugs in the DCT. They did a recall on the M3 and if i remember the dual clutch was the reason. Did they ever work it out? anything else from the M3 would be great, although a regualr stick shift would be better than paddles for me. (unless it has been a bad car and It needs to be spanked with the paddles)

Well when was the official BMW press release and pics for the E90 facelift? July 1st, 2008? If so, then there is plenty of time. I think it's a 50/50 chance. My guesses on re-design are:
1. LED Taillightss 2. Refreshed front facia 3. I'm 50/50 about the LED front signals. It has the same construction as the E90/E92 M3 so they would have to change the E90 M3 as well. It's kinda weird that they had LED rear and normal front in the 2009 E90 M3.

I was at the dealership and saw the new E90 front bumpers in person, and I must say that I hope the coupe does not get them. It looks bizarre the way the center section juts out from the rest of the bumper an yet the grill is still set back where it was. Too much going on there with the curves and angles. Ruins the lines and the flow of the front I think. But that is the E90 and not the E92 so I may be OT, just hope it doesnt get on the coupe.

Just like the Sedan, you won't see much until basically production time. If the "word" gets out of the "all new" 3er coupe (we all know its just a face lift but some people are idiots), it will kill sales of pre-LCI(facelift) 3ers on the lot. Then they will have to come out with big incentive programs to move them, residual values will suffer, which is exactly what they do NOT want to happen... Still, 3 days after the "official" pictures are released there will be TONS of "I just bought my 3er coupe last week OMFG, my car is already out-dated" threads and posts... Knowledge is power... Quote:
1) All new for both coupes and ALL m3's 2) All new for coupes Why? Well, look back at the e46, history usually repeats itself, while the non M3 coupes received a facelift to the front and the back, the M3 basically only received LED taillights. So, I believe there is a chance that the 3er coupes will receive new headlights, similar to the LCI non-M3 sedans, while the M3's (of all variations) might retain the same headlights they've had since production, yet the coupe and vert could receive the new stile taillights, just as the M3 sedan already has. I've had a few beers hopefully all of that made sense, its time for bed...

LoL 3 days? More like 5 minutes after.
Ohhh well, I was getting so sick of my E46, I had to pull the trigger on a 2009. Sucks to be me Btw... Being an owner of a Pre-LCI E46, I know that BMW has a history of messing with a good thing. My opinions of the LCI E90s: 1. Taillights: Why not all LED? There is a mess of light underneath the LED signal lights. I'm not sure what they were trying to do. 2. Mirrors: 3. Front signals: Kinda neat but it feels like BMW was trying too hard 4. Front lights: If you're going to make the eyelash clear, why put it in at all? Does it really serve a function? Possibly? We'll see what they do with the E92. Only time will tell. But in a couple years the model change will be here.

Yes that would be super sweet. I'm in the same boat as you. But I would also be satisfied if they offered a retrofit kit.

hmmm anyone notice this?
the line on the current e92 front bumper going down for the inner side of the headlight swoops down into the bottom grille but on the lci pics, it ends half way like the m-tech bumper and those slant pieces in the bottom grille are angled differently. like the opposite direction as before i hope its not like that cause i like the current way more
