1k over invoice should not be a problem at all.
For the record, it's 5k for the individual paint! I have already priced one for the 335is. However, I am checking a contact in Germany to see about a lower price. I would pay 2k. |

OK, I know what ED is, but what's PDC?
Also, if I take European Delivery (ED), how much will it cost me to ship the car back to the US? I'll check on round-trip airline ticket cost and hotels, etc, but it seems like all this could get really expensive for my wife and I to travel over there. |

BMW ships for you and the tickets are 2 for 1. Pretty awesome, huh? I am going in May.

PCD is the Performance Center Delivery (located in Greer, SC). http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...CenterFAQ.aspx You can still save about $1000-3000 off the dealership invoice by doing this. It's the price on those wholesale sheets thats marked US Port of Entry. |

I'm really on the fence about whether to order my new 335is with the standard M-Sport rims (18-inch with Ferric Gray), or the bad ass 19-inch Style 225M rims. It's literally driving me nuts! I'm pretty sure I like how the larger 19-inch allow rims look, but I'm afraid that it will be significantly rougher on the ride.
Has anyone ridden on the 225M rims yet, or maybe someone that actually upgraded from 18-inch rims to the 19-inch 225M rims, how did it impact the ride and handling of the car? |

You mention the word "performance", suggesting that the performance would be better by sticking with the 18" wheels. Why? Are you referring to handling, cornering performance, or straight line accelleration performance, or what did you mean? If there really is a performance difference, than my decision is over (sticking with the 18's). Thanks in advance.

If you want to do aftermarket rims, don't bother paying for the OEM 19's cuz you'll be swapping them out anyway. If you want it a bit lighter but still OEM, stick with the 18's. If you don't care really (I mean its not affecting it THAT much) and don't care too much about the ride being a touch bumpy then go for the upgraded OEM 19's. You can always ditch the RFT's for regular tires which will help with the ride quality too. |

you can replace it on both 18's or 19's for a better ride but you'll feel it a bit more on the 19's because of less sidewall on the tire size to absorb the impact of bumps. |

I think I may go with the 19-inch 225's, and if it seems rough, then when the tires wear out (25K), I can switch them with non-RFT for a smoother ride.

If I were getting a 335is I would save the $ and stay with 18" 313s. I would sell the 313s with the rfts and buy a set of light forged wheels w/ non-rft Michelin PS2s. But I am an unsprung weight fanatic.

lots of people on here are too... and I'm sure even 18" 313's will carry a nice resale price for the 1st few months they are out.

Okay, guys i need your attention, as i am a newbie in getting the best deal for my beemer. This time i will not get the car, unless i get a deal.
Well, i currently own a 3 series. And, after alot of research i have made up my mind, and i am going to go with the 335is. To get to the point, i know, very little about ED (European delivery) all i know is that i can save money. So, below are the options i am considering. Base Price =49,000 Dct=1575.00 Metallic Paint= 550.00 Leather Seats=1450.00 Premium Sound= 875.00 19'' Wheels=1000.00 Then handling Destination = 875.00 So it will equal roughly... 55,325.00 So now fellas, what do you advise me too do, to get the lowest price possible, so that i do not end up paying the full msrp????? How would you all go about this, steps wise .. Thanks |
