So Erik totally spilled the beans....LOL Here's the newest "Update" right now on our Blog.. Plan is in motion, I promise I'll keep you guys up to date. Its always battle between current business (E46) and future business (E90 N54). The plan is to do the Twin Scroll setup with the Precision 6466 Ball Bearing Turbo from Precision.

Where is your future, Kirk? Like...somewhere in 2015? The beans would have been rotten by then...

Rotten beans and future of 2015 LOL... Well to be honest I didn't plan on giving out any specific timelines since that is part of the reason why everyone on here has so much doubt in us, but Erik already said September and the plan is to have the manifold in the car with the new turbo before the end of next month. With any development there are snags and obstacles to overcome, I'm not here to break promises or blow smoke. I am here to let everyone know where we are at regardless if we get the results we want or not. Just asking for a fresh start, I am new to this Forum but have been around the E46 game for a while. We've made some of the fastest BMW's on the street today its just a matter of time before it rolls over to the N54/N55 Community.

Thanks for the update I know myself and other forum members are rooting for you guys. But ill tell you what, you guys have some restrain cause 99% of these people arent going to buy this and are giving HPF a hard time. I guess making one-of's are easier to make in fiction than in reality. Keep the updates coming now matter how menial others may think.

Updates! Manifold is getting close to completion. Here are a few teaser pics for everyone, more updates to follow and things should start moving quickly here in the next few weeks.

To be fair, how many different manifold designs can you make for an I6 with a cramped engine bay going to a single turbo?

To run the Vishnu software both O2 sensors must read exhaust flow from the front and rear banks individually. As a result of this and the limited space the Vishnu design and this design is optimal. Our new manifold doesn't require an elbow to be welded on the end of the turbo compressor housing anymore and we are now running twin tial wastegates. I'm looking forward to finally getting this project completed!!

Chris.
Just to clarify, it's not the Vishnu software that requires bank separation for the lambda sensors. But rather the BMW DME that needs it.

The original manifold was designed to work with a Stand Alone or a Parallel Setup like in our E46 kits. Which is why you are seeing a second generation manifold. After realizing how far out the Infinity was we decided to speed things up with the piggyback that Vishnu makes. Everything since that point has been working towards using the piggyback system which needs independent O2 readings to work properly with the stock DME. More updates to come guys.

Also their are other ways to make this manifold but we didn't want to make it more complicated just to be different. Having both collector banks up top so you could change out the O2 sensors with ease was just a no brainer.

Ahem, excuse me but I believe you designed your previous n54 mani without much brain.

Hidnsight is 20/20. Now that Vishnu/FFtec has shown everyone how it done it seems normal. Why didn't anyone else do it that way before? Why didn't you do place the O2 sensor up top on your last N54 mani?

and didn't Vishnu/FFtec put a patent on their unique and functional design?

That is why Dave... If we were going with a Standalone like we originally planned it would not have mattered.
