Where to get custom exhaust fabricated?

Looking to get a custom exhaust done. I am going this route, because it's very reasonable in price, usually. I'm looking for someone experienced and does it for a good rate. I've had many friend's who've done it and got it made for a few hundred bucks. I might even be interested in going for a valvetronic route.

I am willing to drive anywhere in the PNW for the right reason. I would be parting with my BMW PE for this.

They work on a lot of JDM cars, but have worked on plenty of domestic and Euros as well.

Looking for the same thing right now. Speed Factory is a pretty big name around here, not sure how cost effective they would be but their work is top notch:

Did some searching and found this place: http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/aos/5045055373.html
Went down there yesterday and got a quote on the spot and they are doing my work this morning. Tony was very knowledgable and friendly and the price was very reasonable for the amount of work to be done. I'll follow up with the quality of the work when it gets done later

EDIT:

Just dropped it off, should be done in a few hours, I'll update later. He did tell me he just finished another 335i just recently. Some guy did straight pipes. Who in their right mind would straight pipe a 335i?! Even he said it sounded horrible.

What did you get done? Roughly how much did it cost? I want to do the valve cut outs and go valvetronic.

Still waiting on it. Long story, I bought the M2 exhaust about 4 years ago. It was actually pretty good for the price but one of the mufflers started rattling inside a few months ago. Drove me nuts so I gutted it and now it's just way too loud. I'm going to cut off the M2 mufflers and put in the stock muffler with the PE mod.

Got it back earlier today. Only cost me $200 plus tax, can't beat that for the amount of work done. Welds aren't the prettiest but they are strong and who cares, they are under the car where they can't be seen anyway. Guys at the shop were extremely nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

Nice! Good to hear those mufflers are getting put to good use. 👍

Haven't had a chance to do video yet but it's too loud. Sounds good but too loud especially at cold start. No drone whatsoever and pretty quiet at idle once warmed up but I think I might do some magnaflows instead

Wahhh....😳 did you put the resonator back? Is it raspy? Maybe because you don't have your first and secondary cats? That's pretty wild for just a pe mod though. Would love to hear what it sounds like. Might have to go the same route since I can't find any used pe exhaust. I've heard magnaflows and thought it was too quite, for the money a rip off, and they drone too.

The M2 has resonators and an H pipe but obviously that's not enough. It's not very raspy, just very loud

hmm with your previous exhaust experiences I'm shocked to hear that. Not sure how to take that because I thought my pe exhaust sounded louder than my straight pipes. I thought both were kinda tame but what's louder than that? Lol

Definitely a bit hairy. 😁
Maybe a resonator can reduce some of the rasp and volume?
