Latest Pics - nearly finished

Hope you guys don’t mind me putting up some new images that I have taken now that I am almost finished on the car, just need to lower now.

Had the rood wrapped on Tuesday in matt black, very pleased with the outcome.

It'll be lovely once you trim those exhausts down

They do stick out about 1 1/2" more on the E90, plus the car had been driven for a while before the pics so they grow even more!

The tips stick out too much as it is an E92 exhaust, not an E90 one. Shame they could not have sorted that when fitting it?

The roof looks great - I have been very tempted to get mine done but not had the bottle to do it in case I don't like it! Is it just a stick on vinyl? How much was it and does it look spot-on around the edges when viewed up close?

Your motor is looking great!!!! - Can't wait to compare cars at the Stafford meet in a few weeks

Don't think the black wheels work. Might be that their alot better in the flesh than in the photo. They are too dark to see any detail in them at all in the pics.. imo gunmetal would have been better?

Otherwise - I love it.

Hi Paul

Apparently it's 'like it or lump it' regards to the fitting for Remus on the E90 as the car is a wee bit longer or something, they don't look as bad when cold as they do stretchhhh a bit you've been running for a while. But the sound is well worth the extra few inches!

The roof is a matt black vinyl and is guaranteed for 12yrs against fade etc, can be removed with a hair dryer and some patience as it leaves no marks. Cost £170 + VAT for the roof and bonnet vent covers, it's a pretty damn good job they did, I think you'll agree, no join marks, even round the guttering:

PM if you want the details of who did it (not too sure if you can advertise on here?)

Close up pics are great Marc, and I like the look

I'm guessing that there is quite a bit of work involved in getting the tips to sit further back under the diffuser, owing to the box and the way it hangs from the mounting points, it's a shame as that is the only negative.

You did'nt think of doing the wing mirrors at the same time as the roof, or was that one step too far?

LOL! I wondered who was going to ask that question regards to the wing mirrors!...yep lost it at the last minute on that one, was my plan but my nerve went!

Spot again regards the boxes, think it's mainly down to the mounting points, but honestly it really doesn't look that bad in the flesh

Sikk, exhausts is the only bad point. Rims would look better in person for sure. Beast of a car. Leave the mirrors as they are.

They stick out too much mate. US being avid BMW'ers notice it a lot. To the normal it's nothing. Rest of the car is pretty stunning for an E90 M3, can't say a bad word about it really. I'm biased though. I will get one of these...eventually!

Marc just fit a rear diffuser and that will help to make the tips look like they fit the car properly

Marc, have a word with Jerome (Speedtrap) and see how he did his, I don't recall his tips sticking out quite as far.

Shortening the pipes that go into the rear of each box looks a challenge as there is a twist in the pipe very close to each box. The mountings should be relatively easy to sort out, but the pain of doing it might not be worth it, especially if YOU are happy with it.
