My New Duke Dynamics D2 Power Vented Hood.
Just got my new hood painted. Thanks to New Life Auto Body in Newark, NJ who did an amazing job with the paint. Also Duke Tong from Duke Dynamics and LTBMW who distributes their parts. I came up with this design more than a year ago and was tweaked alittle bit by the Duke Dynamics team. The quality is amazing it is made very tough not fragile at all. the fitment is really nice a good 97% with minor adjustments. was installed in a matter of minutes, no problems at all. the bottom was painted gloss black and the top alpine white with the vents exposed. Hope you guys like it. im very satisfied with this. Here are some photos.
My favorite pic.

Oh man.....you said this was a DD vented hood....okay....so there are no real vents on the hood...just CF vent looking ripple things which equals a non-functional part. There is no venting of the underhood heat. All that dough into a 328, could have a 335 or m3. Kinda silly imo.

Haters gonna hate. It's your car do what you want. Looks great. I'm glad the fitment was good. I bought a DD diffuser as the fitment was like 80%.
I want a DD D3 power dome but stayed away cuz of my previous DD experience.

at first glance i knew this was cool, but coming back to it, im really diggin how the lines of the hood feel natural, not forced (rice). is this something that is available to the public yet? and glad to know the vents are open! fake vents are the worst!

glad you understand. thats why i designed it this way. i thought about the E90 LCI lines and saw how it gave it some sort of look to it and i figured it would look nice on the E92. yes its available. it is on Bimmerkit.com DukeDynamics.com and LTBMW carries them. best bet is to go thru LTBMW because they are in california. going thru the company itself might be tough because its straight from china.
