How to have Idrive display only one usb?

For everybody that has the 09 Idrive. Is there anyway I can import songs with a flash drive in two different occasions or with two different flash drives and still have it displayed under one USB instead of saying usb1, usb2, usb3 and etc.?

I find myself looking through songs under the file name rather then going to 'music search' because not all my songs have associated artist and titles. However, the naming convention i have set up is always 'Artist - Title of song' under their file names. Thus, all my songs would be displayed if I just go to 'usb' rather than try to search for music. However when adding songs in two different occasions or with two different flash drives, it would segment the group of songs onto a default name such as 'usb2', 'usb3' and etc. I would have to go to each one to find the song i'm looking for if i forget when i added the song. Its very annoying.

So is there anyway to add them and have it always under one default name 'usb1'? It'll also be great if they had a search functionality that allows you to search for file names, but unfortunately they don't.

you need to get the Y cable from BMW if you want full access to your ipod. current you are only getting the mp3 on your ipod and not any of the mp4 or the stuff you buy from the istore.

y cable utilizes both the usb and aux inputs.
