I drove the old 996 Turbo S with the X50 (i think that's what it's called) pack. It was also re-mapped and had 550bhp. I nearly caked my pants and had a bit of a sex wee at the same time. haha

HA HA
The thing literally had me squealing like a girl - I simply could not believe what I was experiencing. One of the most amazing things I've ever experienced.

I remember when I went out in a 911 C4S a few months back, I simply couldn't believe the way it stuck to the road and the sheer power!!
Amazing cars!!

I can remember when my mate let me have a blast in his F430. Jesus, I floored it and couldn't believe the pace. Similar to the 911 Turbo i guess, but yeah, these 'supercars' are in a different league. Scary stuff.

My mate had it for a weekend test drive, not sure how he did it, I can't see me getting away with it!
You have to experience it though. I regurally go on a DMS remapped RS4 and went out in an XKR (500+ bhp) last week and honestly, they were NOTHING compared to this. I couldn't keep my head off the head rest and I just couldn't stop making screaming noises - I lost all control of my vocal cords!

I can vividly remember at Northern Meet 2, Helen (Beemerbird) coming up the road from Ilkley towards the Cow and Calf in her turbo at a cracking pace... we heard it before we saw it and it sounded incredible. She was being very closely followed by Tony in his E92 modded beast. Everyone in the car park turned to look! They are awesome machines.

Awesome is a word that is used too much, but this really was awesome.
Seemed so easy to drive too, and the interior was nice also. You really could drive this car on a daily basis.

The only car that I've been in that "felt" more accelerative than a 997 turbo was an F40. Couldn't guarantee that it actually was quicker, but it just felt it.

Never been in a Turbo but been in a couple of GT3s and a GT3 RS driven by a friend who races. My brain was saying brake when he would accelerate. Corners being taken at ridiculous speeds and the cars just stuck with no roll what so ever. The grip is what astounded me the most. Said friend just picked up a V10 R8 so will soon be shitting the seat of that. He said even he's a bit scared of it.

I know what you mean. I've not been in the V10 yet but he used to have the V8 version and I was massively unimpressed by it. So much so that I actually thought the RS4 was better. He did have a 911 Turbo about 5 years ago but didn't keep it long. He says he doesn't like turbos...... weirdo.
