Bluetooth Not Working

I have been using my iPhone 4 with my car's bluetooth for over two months with no problems. Every time I'm in the car it gets connected automatically and I can use the phone book and everything. Today, bluetooth stopped working and can't be paired with the iPhone. When I search for bluetooth devices, the car's bluetooth cannot be found.

I'm not able to deactivate bluetooth in iDrive.

These are the messages I got on the iDrive screen.

I read on the internet that I can reset iDrive by pressing the mute and cd eject buttons for five seconds, but that didn't work.

oops, looks like a bit of pain, can you try to do it without using iDrive through the controls on the radio?

I came across this when I was searching to find a solution for my bluetooth problem.

If you don't have a sat nav in your car, I think this is the way to go.

This is a Dynavin Unit and I'm considering getting one myself. You can also purchase a modem that allows you to insert your own sim card to access the net............
If anyone has one in Oz, i'd like to know about it...........

That's exactly what happened. Bluetooth module dead, in other words, one grand is gone!

I already learnt the bad news!

I have purchased a V5 dynavin from Jason and fitted it. The sound from my stereo has improved significantly, and watching a DVD the sound was alive and surround. I dont think the professional radio uses the under seat speakers.
The bluetooth only shows the numbers not the names in the phone, but worked well with the inbuilt speakers. I have not used it under all situations yet.
The navigation is similar to the Garmin and worked well, the only problem I found is when the GPS gives instructions, it uses the front speakers and if you are not listening for it, it can be overidden by the music from the rear speakers.
I had also purchased the DVT box and unable to get any channels on it. I have tried to manually set the frequency for digital channels but the best reception from the search window was 6% and maximum 30% reception. It would not find and list the channels, so maybe this is just an aerial problem?

If anybody has answers or experience, please let me know, or you would like answers, maybe I can also give you some..........
