Audi community < BMW community
Let me just say, I miss my 3er and I am hoping to get into a S/C m3 by this summer....but for now....i am rolling in a b7 s4, really a pretty fun car..
but on that note....i want to remind you guys how lucky you are to be a part of the bimmer community, i mean sure well get into little pissing matches here and there, but for the most part...everyone is helpful, friendly and fair. Dont take it for granted I have only spent 4 months on audi forums and a majority of the community sucks...sucks balls... obviously there is a core group of members that hold it together but for the most part: always arguing and always rude, too competitive....literally couldnt find a single thread that doesnt have someone acting like a dousche... buncha sketchy dudes trying to get rid of broken and abused stuff without disclosing....then when you are able to find someone to help out or knows what hes talking about....there is always a troll who trys to call him out for acting like a know it alll..... Anyways cant wait to get back on the bimmer team...and never look back. pics cause its always fun. e90 before i sold it b7 s4 4.2v8 got v3 coils, statis catback, piggie downpipes, b8 s4 19s, rs4 front, cupra front lip, blacked out headlight and a few other random mods...im having fun.

I've noticed that..I visit a lot of different forums and seems like this forum is a lot more knowledgable and helpful. Love this community! And btw your cars look great, tasteful mods. Good luck on getting what you want and coming back to this forum

lol just within the bimmerpost forums i've noticed
E90post - younger kids, fast and furious/boy racer/euro ricers (pretzels?) M3post - a little more civilized, good amount of douchebags, some older guys 6 series - BROs/douches/gold chains, dubs and too much cologne crowd 7 series - older gentlemen, more polite, OR rapper/pro athlete types i say all that tongue in cheek or course

Your very right about your comment, I havent owned audi so far only these:
Mitsubishi - club3g.com - 3rd best (Fairly decent, Sometimes you had to set them ricer boys straight...very strictly disliked on forum) BMW e46 - e46fanatics.com - 2nd best ( very nice people, helpful, Actually better DIY section then here) BMW e90 - E90post.com - 1st ( Best forum community ive seen, helpful, Little unorganized in my opinion on diy section) Worst of all. Myjeepcompass.com (OMG sucks...Bmw community is by far most fanactic about their cars...Almost no one on jeep forum writes diy - Its almost useless forum. ) Wifes car...

Quattroworld is the better Audi forum. Audizine is horrid in my opinion. Audiworld is a ghost town now.

I have to disagree a bit here: I post need some help on register my battery, zero response (I will compensate for the help, not seeking free work here). When I was on audi forum, always get help for VAG-COM. Well, hope my K-CAN cable will be here soon
One more disappointed: no separate E91 forum. E91 does has many thing difference with the Sedan & Coupe. Sorry if I offence anyone here. Hope my experiences will improve. |

Used to be on Audizine back in the day with my B5. It was a great community, lots of support for one another. It's great to come here and find a similar community.

I think experiences will vary depending on where you go. I've found people who can come off as being less than kind at any forum I go to, but in general, I've never found one where most people were total asses.
In general, I've found the BMW community to be pretty awesome. I've previously been involved with Subaru and VW and they were generally nice too. The VW guys, similar to the Audi crowd that ///M297 is referring to, are always helpful with VAG-COM. If you ask the Top Gear UK guys, it's the BMW crowd you should worry about, hahaha. Or I suppose they did turn their jokes towards the Audi folks too.
