NASA space launch tonight

For anybody vaguely interested , it's space shuttle Discovery's lift off tonight, at 21:50 GMT, and the final mission for Discovery. (Only 2 more missions left till the STS programme is retired )

You can watch the launch live here on NASA TV.

Raj, makes me wish I was back in Florida. Visted Kennedy Space Center twice last summer, brilliant place (kids didn't agree). I would LOVE to witness alive launch but it seems like that chance has gone, shame.

Lucky you Mike!
I would love to KSC.

Seeing a shuttle launch in person would be just awesome! Cannot imagine how it would sound and feel in real life

It will probably be shown on BBC news 24 or SKY news just before launch as breaking news. They have done in the past
