Quick Q: Your opinions plz, best bang for buck lower springs -- Looking for more of a conservative drop.

H&R Sports are the way to go. They give you a nice drop and improvement in handling, they are comfortable for daily use and well priced.

+3 on h&R springs, that's what I have on stock shocks, great ride and looks awesome.

What about the Eibach Pro Lowering Springs? They seem to be around the same price as the H&R Sport springs. I have been looking for some springs myself. I think the ride of my E90 is a bit on the harsh side. I know it also has to do with the Flintstone concrete run flats I have on it currently. Would performance tires and a set of sports springs make a difference?

without aftermarket springs and without fun-flats, your car will feel more comfortable and less bumpy. with aftermarket springs, the car will feel more firm but not hard like run flats. hard to explain through words but i guess you know what i mean

coilovers are amazing, but be ready to shell out around $1200 atleast for those KW V2's, thats around 5 times the price of just lowering springs.

If all you are after is lowering and an improvement in handling, stick with springs or a spring and shock combo like the H&R Cup Kit. Coilovers are great if you have the budget or need the adjustment but all too often I see people get coils just to get coils. Rarely do people maximize the use of height and rebound/compression adjustment unless they are specific about their suspension settings or regularly hit the track.

you need a shock to match the lowered springs, stock shocks will wear out like twice as fast with them. just so you are ready.

i prefer the look of he Eibach Pro Street because they dont lower the car as much as HR sports which to me is excessive for daily driving.
