Wait!! It's MY Car!

Just a matter of keeping this forum alive

Funnily enough yesterday I've spotted a car that is a RARE JDM Toyota Caldina GT-T but then I realise it's not another car, it's MY CAR 4 years back with the exact same plates. I was tempted to put a note on the windscreen "Do you want to sell it?" But I thought nah it's too old already

It's interesting sometimes you see your old car and realise it has change, can be bumper front or rear or even just new wheels or even added racing stripe or Worst still when the car was showroom condition when you sold, it then had a big hole in the bumper!(Like my mates VW GTI )

How many of you actually have bump into your own car? and what was the condition like?

saw my dad's old E46 325Ci that he sold to a friend about 5 years after he sold it and it was in perfect condition, looked new! haha

Maybe you'll see your car again next week on the road haha

Sold my 320d to a lovely couple in the same suburb. Not a mark on it. Seen a few times all good. Saw it the other day. Some jerk had cleaned her up in a car park recently. They were really upset.

A little over a year ago I had sold my 07 335 e92 that I had bought a year before with 23k on it. I sold it with 30k. I replaced it with an 03 m3 with 40k. Not that i didnt enjoy the M but i had aleays felt that i shouldnt have sold the e92. A year later I was missing the newer technology and performance. Started the search for another n54. Looked for 2 months and couldn't find a manual I drive with low miles within reasonable driving distance. Just for the hell of it I extended my search from a 4 hour radius to a 7. I came across a post on Craigslist same color as my old one. I didn't get too excited as everything I had seen was a let down so far. Kept reading, it had the exact same mods I had sold it with. Thought ok, I guess those could be common mods. It had the comfort access, I thought to myself wow I've barely found that on any other cars. Then I noticed a small dent it had on the passenger rear wheel well. WHAT THE HELL, THIS IS MY CAR. Called him, hey remember me... took the 7 hour drive the next day and bought back the one that got away.

I 'gave' my old car (R33 Skyline) to my mum, so I guess I see it everyday.
