Install? U kidding right BC it's likeless than 5 Mins to remove the tail lights. If coding that's a different story.

If I have a 2008 coupe, will I need to buy the module also or will coding do the job?

Perfect working condition. I offer through paypal $40 with Free Priority Mail.

To clarify for everyone.

1. You don't need separate grommets
2. You only need the FRM3 module if your dealer is coding the car. If you have a cable and software (check the coding section) there are 4 commands you need to flip to nicht_activ. These turn off the bulb checks. I did mine in 20 mins after learning how to code. Learning how to code took like a week of reading through long threads in our coding section and the other bmw coding forum.
3. Just a retrofit harness will give you errors and your lights will blink fast. If you get the harness that use a resistor, you still get the bulb check error but it doesn't blink fast.
4. Installation will take someone maybe 30 mins for all the lights. You just unbolt and unplug the old and bolt up the new.

That's all. LCI tails look great and I love mine.

so no coding gives you bulb error and blink fast, that's all?
I ordered my LCI taillight, and will be installing this myself w/o coding yet.

What year is your e92? I'm wondering if coding would work in an early 2007/late 2006 e92 which I know might not work using the AutoLogic at the shop.

the bulb error is from other lights which i cannot pinpoint which bulb; iirc the error was present before the LCI tail light retrofit. I've done this retrofit coding to for a couple of locals and they're fine.

its pretty straight forward if you know what you're doing and read the DIY's
