Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS on '06 330i Sport ?

I would like to buy these tires when my OEM tires wear out (soon). Fronts are available in OEM size (225/40/18), however the rears aren't. Can you guys confirm that I could use 265/35/18 size for my rears ? This is the closest size available - I just want to make sure there will be no wierd issues, like rubbing, etc. I am looking at these, because I am interested in longevity, and they seem to get rave reviews at Tirerack. Thanks !

The tire is going to look real beefy in the back. 255's can be stretched as much as 9 inch wide rims easily. 265's are often stretched to wheels as wide as 10 inches, and you are going to place them on an 8.5 inch wide rim...

I would probably look to keep 255's on the rears of OEM staggered setups...

Ive seen 275 on oem sport package REARS. It looks wide and agressive from the back, and does not look wierd.

A/S tires

I expect to need tires later this year and will be calling Tire Rack for opinion. In their recent ultra high performance all season tests, Yokohama Advan S4 did well. It comes in the 255 x 35 x 18 size for the rears, and most likely could still fit ultra thin cable chains.

Great, could you post the info after you talk with them.
I am also looking at Pirelli PZero Nero M/S tires as an alternative - they are almost as good, acoording to reviews, and slightly cheaper. They come in OEM size.
