I've just installed my cp-e downpipes and then flashed from stage1+fmic aggressive stock thr to stage2+fmic aggressive and now the car feels less punchy through the mid range. I thought I'd picked a linear throttle map or sport map but no.

Is this an illusion? I need some proper test time tomorrow!

Sounds funny but my car didn't feel as quick immediately after a flash, 2 days after driving a bit, it feels quite different. As everyone else will say... pull some logs and check to see if anything is off.

Yep, after tomorrow if it doesnt show some change I'll go testing and logging. Although id never heard it before, i did think i picked up on a little rattle now the cats are out, so I'll be interested to see the waste gate performance in case it is them rattling. But no codes though after having gone WOT on 3-4 occassions so fingers crossed everything else is good still. Im 40k miles on original turbos, hpfp, plugs and coils.

Sound is awesome though with just the T-mod and catless dp's.

No problem, it's a pretty easy fix if it isn't a software problem. If you clean them, it should take about 20 minutes. It takes less to replace them.

Typo?

Not sure if typo in the map description for v400 Sport ST.

COBB Tuning, v4.00 -- Stock Throttle - Sport Mapping for "0044DC0I8A0S" ECU. Adjusted boost levels, fuel, ignition timing and base programming logic to improve performance and reduce ECU interference over vehicle driver?s input. Torque and load limiters adjusted or altered to allow for significantly increased power over stock levels. Fuel mixtures have been appropriately tuned for increased power levels to provide safety and performance. Speed limiter has been raised to maximum allowed value of 198.4 MPH. Rev limiter has been raised to 7200 RPM for MT vehicles. (Requires 93 Oct. or 98 Ron fuel)

Is the above correct for fuel requirements or typo?

For v400 Sport LT Map :

COBB Tuning, v4.00 -- Linear Throttle - Sport Mapping for "0044DC0I8A0S" ECU. Adjusted boost levels, fuel, ignition timing and base programming logic to improve performance and reduce ECU interference over vehicle driver?s input. Torque and load limiters adjusted or altered to allow for increased power over stock levels. Fuel mixtures have been appropriately tuned for increased power levels to provide safety and performance. Speed limiter has been raised to maximum allowed value of 198.4 MPH. Rev limiter has been raised to 7200 RPM for MT vehicles. (Requires Premium Fuell)

I suspect that's a typo... all Stock maps require Prem 91 octane.

Hey Rob, do you think you can raise the idle on cars with a lightened flywheel to eliminate gear clash?

this is more likely a custom request. Try to mail them and see if they can do something about it. Pretty sure 99% of the people with cobb do not want raised idle.

?

I did as said on install manual.
Tried install-got error Unsupported vehicle ROM,
but Tools menu didn’t open like it should do

what can I do now? doors were closed but afterwards I realized that
trunk was open. can this cause that cannot open tools menu and
load a dump to the AP?

emailed to Cobb but still wanted to ask here, if anyone knows about this...
or what to try.

Did you retry with the trunk shut? If I remember right, Cobb did say that if you couldn't access the ROM dump function then to contact them. There will be a reason for it and nothing major I doubt, I've had a few hiccups myself and they've been really helpful, even half way across the world .
