Swap in updated e92 headlights/taillights?

A friend of mine has a 2010 335i m-sport. He's thinking about swapping in the 2011 headlights and taillights, is this possible?

Also, are the new LED halos just LED bulb setups that would work on the 2010 cars?

Thanks for your help.

Tailights -- yes, I believe longtran has done this for someone
Headlight -- not sure, but I think they're a different shape, so possibly no.

The headlights are a different shape so that's a no, and the tails currently flash/throw error codes.

Also, I'm pretty sure the LCI has a different halo design, so swapping out a bulb for the angels probably won't work.

Just wait, time will tell. Tail lights for sure will be able to be retrofitted. Just waiting on a PNP harness to fix the current issues.
