Road hazard warranty

just got quoted 899 + tax for Road hazard warranty on 19" RFT's on style 179 wheels.

Worth it? Montreal roads ARE terrible i should probably pick it up. Can i hassle the price down even though i have 19's?

Parkview BMW was asking $700 for the tire insurance.

i got it for $699. the price is negociable. but my winter tires are not included in the deal. if you're paying all that money, make sure both sets winter/summer are covered.

I believe they charge $699 normally, $799 if you have sport suspension, and probably $899 if you have 19's -- the three year warranty covers two sets of wheels and tires (summer and winter.) You may be able to negotiate a better price...

I got a coupon for it when I went to the 1 Series Drive event. I don't think that event has happened in Montreal yet, so you should try to get in on that.

You'd need to close a deal (or sign the papers on a factory order) within 90 days of it, I don't know if you can use the voucher if you've already done a deal.

Well, I have a 335i coming and I am certainly going to use the coupon. I may have ordered the car, but I have not 'bought' or 'leased' a new BMW until I take delivery. They will have a big problem with me if they try to disallow it.
