I've got a mate with an 06 X5, does anyone know where I can get maps for that one? I've tried my disk, but it doesn't work.

I believe his navigation is what they call MkIV system. For those he needs a "HIGH" map (not Business or Professional).

I've seen some HIGH maps shared for Europe and US, but not Australia.

I'm currently uploading the file to Mediafire.com so people can download it at fast speeds without Bittorrent.

Being using the "backed up" copy of Pro Nav 14 for a few days now.

The lag seems to be worse than when I'm using the original disc...especially when you are trying to enter in a new destination...

Normally, when I press on the Idrive to select a surburb, it takes about 1 to 2 seconds... now it takes more like 3-5 seconds.

Other than the extra lag, everything else seems to be working perfectly.

Did you burn it at a very slow speed (2x or 4x)? Usually these drives are very sensitive to errors, and burning the DVD at higher speeds produce those errors. Although they are correctable when read, it takes longer to read.

I've also added it to newsgroups if anyone wants to download it at full speeds.

v16 Available

v16 is now available according to my SA.

I'm trying to get in touch with the guy that hacked a v14 disk so it would display speed cameras etc as a POI on the screen. The data is on the disk from BMW but they choose what menu items to allow the disk to display before sensis manufactures them.

If he will do it again for me I'll buy the disk and have nicely updated speed cameras etc.

If anyone can get a hold of v16 professional i know a guy that will enable the speed cameras, red light camera's and possibly even school zones (they would be active all the time, not based on time of day).

On a side note if anyone wants a copy of v14 professional with speed camera's and red light camera's active let me know.

Do you know what's new with v16? If it includes the Clem Jones 7 tunnel in QLD, I will consider it.

Cheeers,
