2011 335d - Eco Credit

Does anyone know if the $4500.00 Eco Credit is available for the 2011 335d?

Yes, I just recently purchased a 2011 335d for just about invoice (USAA pricing) and then the eco credit was subtracted from that.

Yep, just priced a loaded 335d and the $4500 credit applies

Does anyone know how long this incentive will last?

According to the sales guy I talked to yesterday, it expires today. BUT, he said that BMW will most likely extend it again. What BMW has been doing is extending the program 2 months at a time, so chances are that they will continue it.

Damn, ordered my 335d in Sept....but apparently since the dealership didn,t send in the financing contract till this month....I only get the $3500 credit instead of $4500. Which will mean almost $30/mo more payments.

If the car was ordered and in priority 1 status you should be locked in at 4500.

The car is being built..I.have an order sheet under my name...but since the financing wasn't completed in sept....the reps said no-go.

Of course it wouldn't have been an issue the last few months when BMW kept renewing the same offer. But now that it suddenly changes...the payments are affected.

If they didnt apply for credit in September you are correct.

IF the car was placed in Priority 1 status (assigned to you as a client) and had a production number in Sept - you should get the $4500...

That's terrible. I guess everyone just assumed things wouldn't change and there was no rush since the car wont be ready for a couple months.

I wonder what the likelihood of it being priority 1 status is? Does it take away from dealership profit or allocation? I didn't tell them it was urgent or anything like that. I was advised about any different priority options.

The eco credit is through BMW financial. And would only be locked in like the rates if his CA applied for credit through FS.

However the MSRP of the car doesnt change and will be locked in with September pricing. Not the interest rate and option credit.

Oh you're a Client Advisor and have September's program's sitting on your desk at work?

I didn't think so.

I'll type out the exact verbiage detailing the lock when I get there.

Yes. I am, and do. If I have missed something my mistake. Not trying to argue with you.

Go back and look at the full eco credit details page (I think it's about page 15). It states that eco credit can be locked for cars as long as the car was placed in P1 status.

I think we are both right. I just read through the rates sheet again. If he is paying cash, he will get the $4500. But if financing, he will only get $3500 if he did not lock in the September rates through FS.

Yes I am going through BMW Financial services....so no matter what I am out of luck? Let me know if there are any other possibilities of getting the $4500 credit I was counting on when I ordered the car.

I read through it all and dont see any way to get the $4500 unless you are going to be paying cash, or you locked in Septembers rates and residuals with the 4500 eco credit.
