M3 Rep Bumper, what 9006 fog light do I buy?

So I just ordered an M3 style front bumper that comes with the 9006 fog lights. It comes with some cheap bulbs which I'm sure suck. I don't feel like swapping them out again and would just like some advice on what bulb to buy. I just want a clean light that wont go bad quickly. All advice is appreciated, thanks.

I went with a 6000K HID Kit from High Performance Bulbs . com - I did an online chat with a sales rep and decided to change my low beams as well. I wanted both to match as closely as possible in terms of color.

By no means is this a good picture, but maybe it gives you an idea of what I did...

If you got the projector fog option with the M3 bumper, I would consider going HID. They look amazing.

Personally, I don't like HIDs in fogs.

I normally recommend Xenesis TruMatch bulbs from Bimmian.....only product from Bimmian that is worth it and is not a rip off/poor quality.

These bulbs match the OEM xenons and most 6k LED angel eyes perfectly.

Hey thanks for the replies. Keep em coming. What is a reasonable price for fogs? What'd you guys pay? I'm going to purchase the lux e90 v6 angel eyes as well since there isn't really any other options for my car.

Also, I'm limited to what fits in these 9006 fog light housings correct? So I can't just purchase lights made for an e90.

just go with LEDs I have them on my fogs and I love them especially since they are more slim and don't need a ballast. Go with the leds that have a canceller worth it

LEDs would probably be the newest and most beneficial option. I also would recommend projector foglight housing. Unfortunately, when I bought my M3 rep, it came with regular fogs and I didnt want to drop the extra coin for projectors. LED fogs also didnt exist at my time of purchase, hence my reason for going with HIDs (which werent that expensive - maybe $100?)

That's a good question. I've heard they do but I installed LED side markers and didn't get codes so I'm confused. Haha

Side markers probably don't put out enough watts to matter

+1. agreed, we suggest LED fog light kits over HID fog light kits, although we carry both types, the LED fog lights kits are extremely brighter than stock fog light bulbs, in fact, you can just use them for driving at night with no Xenons

So do I need a kit that comes with resistors? Or are just led bulbs enough?

Personally for me I'm just going to go with the GP Thunder 8000k bulbs. Cheap and look great. They also don't throw any codes. I had them on my stock bumper. The m3 rep ones are ugly and don't look good.

Do you know if the quality differs much for the projector fogs, as that's what is coming on my m3 rep..??

And, are you referring to something similar to these ^^^..??

I'm not sure man. I know projectors give a better beam but color wise they'd look great either way. And yeah those are the ones I'm referring to.
