BMW short shift kit & CDV removal
Hi Guys
been thinking about fitting a short shift kit to my 320 e92 as I really like the look of the kit, I found this on US Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-330i-E...ht_1313wt_1270 just wondered if it would work fine on my UK/European? I cant see there being a problem but thought I would check, also does engine size make any difference? Has anyone got this kit fitted? good/bad comments? I know many of you have removed the clutch delay valve but any of you experineced any problems? thanks guys |

Says it's for a 6 speed 330i, nowhere does it say anything about the 320. Are the gearboxes shared between the models??? I don't know but it is something that you should research.
Also is your 320 petrol or diesel??????? |

This may be worth investigating:
Have a look on 5series.net and do a search on short shifters. It seems that on the 5er, you can swap the stock lever for one from a Z3(?). Now hopefully, there is some commonality of parts within 5's and 3's so it may well be that you can get a "proper" part from your friendly local $tealer. Mike |
