Thumbs down California New Century BMW SUCKS!!!

Hi

Just like the most 335i Driver....My fuel pump has some long crank problem so i sent my car to NEW CENTURY on 7/25/2007 for diagnose and yes it was the pump problem and they said thei already placed the order for a new pump for me. Since my car still drivable so i didn't request for a loaner.

On 8/29/2007, the SA call me and said the fuel pump is in stock ready to install so i made a appointment with them on 9/4/2007 morning.

On 9/4/2007 9:00AM, i drop my car into New Century BMW for replace my pump and i left with a loaner car at 10:30AM to work but after 4 hours of wait the SA call me and tell me they don't have the pump in stock and need to re-order and i have to wait another month for my Pump.... so i drove back to NEW CENTURY BMW right after SA call me and return the loaner car to them. I spoke with the SA and he didn't even say sorry about it just keep saying "I Understand that" Blah Blah Blah, so i decide to talk to the service manager and he promised me the pump will arrive on 9/6/2001 or 9/7/2007.

Today is 9/7/2007 and i tried to call the manager many times and left 2 Msgs in the morning but i haven't heard from them yet.

Sorry for my bad english...hope you guys understand what i mean.

try to get seated promplty in a chinese restaurant on a Sunday morning anywhere in 626

I can agree that New Century sucks, at least their internet salesmen. After seeing them and test driving a car last week, we inquired about another one which they said they'd have to get from another dealership (it was already in their lot) and that it wasn't eligible for the $1500 rebate for the 'before Feb 15' inventory.

Basically the guy tried to take me, but at least this wasn't the first internet deal I've worked on so I eventually found a good internet salesman at Assael who went over to New Century and got the car for me and sold it for $3500 cheaper than what New Century wanted (included the $1500 rebate, which he disclosed to me about the inventory date of the vehicle), and just a very smooth and overall great transaction at Assael.

I don't know about the service at New Century but screw their internet sales department.

Wow... very different from my experience... and that was today.

I walked into the showroom at around 1:20pm today, and I was welcomed by at least 2 or 3 SAs. In fact, I carried quite a long conversation with an SA named Tai who certainly was very respectful and would earn my business.

As for pricing... I'm assuming you were looking for an E92 335i or E93 335i as dealing on an E90 is not a problem. Dealers are able to offer decent discounting on the E92s.

Just so you know... MANY BMW dealers are like that with people who show up at their showrooms. I have had BAD luck at Westlake Rusnak in the past, where I would show up and NO ONE would even welcome me.

This is the first time i've heard bad things about new Century in quite some time.

I cant speak for the sales department since i didnt buy the car from them, but everytime i walk in, i am greeted and asked if i need help with anything.

As far as the service department, my SA always takes great care of me. If he tells me to come in a X time and ill get my car back at X time, he always pulls through. He also personally keeps my keys on him at all times and makes sure he is the only one to drive my car into and out of the service bay .

Hopefully your issue gets resolved.

You know... everyone's had issues with a company that they've dealt with... Whether it's the phone company, the electric company, the bank, the market... WHATEVER...

If people posted that this company sucks because of I've had a bad dealing with them, or this company sucks because they they won't match this company's price, then EVERY COMPANY IN THE WORLD is going to have a "This company sucks" posting.

If you have an issue, work it out. If they don't want to budge, take your business elsewhere, like you did.

Yeah, I've had issues with my exhaust, with my clear bra, with BOTH of my BMWs... I don't come out and say that this particular company sucks... and I certainly haven't come out and said that BMW sucks because my fuel pump dies, or my rattle keeps coming back, or that right-rear brake lamp malfunction keeps coming on, or I keep getting the TPMS issue.

If you were a proprietor of a shop, you will certainly learn very quickly that you cannot satisfy everyone.
