Car changes - ordered xdrive35i
Last month I traded in my 2007 328i manual for a 2011 a4 quattro manual. This was not the best decision in my life. The a4 is very different but I did order a 2011 xdrive x35i last week scheduled for week 48 production. This x35i should be decently quick and sure footed. My options are jet black, chestnut leather, sunroof, heated seats/wheel. The stock wheels on the 35i are pretty legit.

My dad just got back from a west coast trip. While it Utah he stopped to see a fellow Bonneville racer we had meet years ago. Come to find out he was following his friend Richard Loosee (T-Top Enzo) when he crashed it. He was in his Porsche with helmet also doing close to 200 and tells my dad he just couldn't catch the Enzo, just to fast. BTW the guy in the Porsche is 70+ years old.
http://www.autoblog.com/2006/08/03/t...h-speed-crash/ So after the crash I guess Ferrari sent some people over as they were wanted to investigate why the car went airborne. I am not sure how much they helped but the car was rebuilt and taken to Bonneville where it set a record for it's class. http://www.autoblog.com/2010/08/18/w...t-flats-racer/ |
