shift rod/shifter hitting drive shaft

Has anyone had a issue with there shifter hitting the drive shaft?

I installed the bmw short throw, along with a new bushing cup. In 4th and 6th I can feel the shifter hitting the drive shaft. Is it possible to push the cup in to far?

I'm going to guess that this is where on the drive shaft it is hitting.
