I’ve actually never driven an auto 335. I’ve driven a DCT 335is which was as awesome as a 2 pedal vehicle can be. I was referring to the 6 speed manual as far as the tightness but it’s interesting that the auto has the same issue. I guess it must be the ratio between 1st and 2nd bc in the manual it feels like the synchronization is kind of off

I'm going to play devils advocate on a couple of suggestions made here because I am genuinely curious.

Why does everyone hate the cup holders? I get the cheap design but if you don't want someone to hit it with their knee just close it? That's why they were designed that way. Mine also has a plastic piece inside the cup holder that is designed to keep smaller bottles in place (bottle of water). Other than that it fits coffee, pop cans etc. just fine.

On the lack of dipstick - is this an issue because you're too lazy to wait the 2 minutes it takes for the computer to check your oil level? Again not trying to be a dick just curious.

I have no "rattling" or other noises, I've had several people say they can't believe how quiet the car is.

I also have a windows lock button, but I do agree the positioning of the window control is bonkers.

My 2 biggest complaints would be stock sound system cutting out at high volume and the radio not being visible with sunglasses on for sure. Location of USB/AUX ports are brutal too.

Standard (non M-Sport) seats sucks with little to no lumbar support, so you get thrown around when you take a corner at any speed > a granny in a Camry.

My 20 year old Skyline's plain cloth seat had adjustable lumbar & was much better than this...

Gear changes in the lower gears at low speed seems kinda harsh.

I agree on the design of the cup holders but I’ve seen them jam on several BMWs where the cup holder gets stuck inside. This should be fixed through redesigning.

The lack of dipstick bothers me as well bc you can’t always trust a sensor. Point is, sensors go bad and oil level is a critical piece of information you can’t be guessing on. This is especially true on the 335s where they are turbocharged and use oil.

As far as the rattle - that’s a wastegate rattle issue so it only applies to the turbos on the 335s and doesn’t apply to your 323.

I agree on the sound system issues across the board.

The constant rattles in the cab drive me crazy. Try as I might, I can never be 100% free of them.

Uneven *look* of the fender height front and rear (e92)
RFTs
Weak ass offsets.
Stock low boost settings.
Crappy Angel Eye design (e92).

Not a serious complaint, and i swear by my sunglasses.... but....... does this sharp/ piercing/ reflection that seems to penetrate my brain, bother anybody else? :-O LOL any recommendations?

Every time I start my car the idrive goes straight to satellite radio, as I left it. However, despite still playing the channel I left on, the channels listed are the ones at the bottom of the list (1,2,3,4....) so I have to scroll all the way to 36 to see what's playing or what's on my other channels. Every time. Very annoying.

Haha try owning a vert!! I use sunglasses 100% of the time when the top is down for this reason alone. Its funny. The sun doesnt get in my eyes, but the glare from this does.

I hate that I can't figure out how to get HD2, HD3 radio stations on the radio. It's easy on cars with iDrive. So far, impossible on cars without iDrive.

I can't stand that. I've started keeping a hand towel or tshirt in the backseat to throw over it when I'm driving during the day.

I've got an annoying rattle/vibration in the roof right behind my head on my E92. Particularly bad on uneven pavement.
