Bluetooth Volume
Hello fellow members,
I have noticed since Iphone ios 4.1, I'm not able to adjust the bluetooth volume on the iphone when connected via car bluetooth system. The option seems to be deleted from Iphone ios. Since ios 4.3.1, I'm hearing echos during the call and it seems the bluetooth volume is high. Is there any way to adjust the volume on iphone.? Thanks in advance. Ct335i

Resolved echoing issue by updaing the iphone baseband. The iphone bluetooth vol control is still missing when connected to car handfree but aleast no echo's.
I noticed same issue with my brother's Audi A4 but on my friends Kia the control are available.. interesting!!

4.2.1
I meant the vehicle volume knob. The function is not available on my iPhone. When I had my 3G w/ 3.1.3, I could still control bluetooth volume on the iPhone. |

I can adjust the volume for AD2P Bluetooth profiles....not for voice though. But while your in a call, you can adjust the volume through the HU.

OP, search online on the topic of iPhone bluetooth volume control. It looks to have been taken out with the 4.1+ software update.
Some people quickly discussed a potential app that will help with control from the iPhone itself, but I'm too lazy to dive into it - adjusting by the iDrive worked enough for me. Actually, I hated adjusting thru both the headunit and the phone. Settings always seemed off, where I would need to play with both the phone and the headunit to get a decent volume. Now, it's simply the headunit only. I find the quality much better than when I was given two sets of volume control to adjust. |
