it can be done, and you're not even really stretching the rubber at all. it's also dependent on the tire choice you use. e.g. Bridgestone S03's or a Continental tire may run really wide and the sidewall shoulder is very square, whereas a Toyo T1-S runs narrow so you result in a more rounded shoulder. Falkens are the same. A lot of the hardcore euro guys that like to run uber strethed rubber tend to run Toyo T-1S because of that, i've see 215 being stretched onto a 10 before. Not recommended for canyon carving but it completes the look that they're going for.

that doesn't sound right... i'm running 265/30/19 Toyo T1R's on a 10.5 rear and its pretty stretched... I should be using 275, but i'm using a really aggressive offset.

i'm not sure why you're not doing the correct size anyways... elaborate?

looks bad 245 on 10", 265/30-19 is right size for 9,5" wheel, so you need at least 275 on 10" that tire looks not stretched. 275/30-19 or 285/30-19

thats too narrow for that size of a wheel. if you want the stretch look you can use falkens which are known for stretches. however, i would suggest just as the others have, use the 265 or a 275 series

I concur. A 245 series tire on a 10-inch wide wheel would be too small. I have 265s on a 19 x 10 and they are stretched.

A 245 series on a 9.5 inch wide would work though.

this setup will harm the rim's lip since it will be exposed more to the outside. More rubber, more protection.
