Oil level question

hi all,

Did an oil change yesterday. Bought two 5 quart jubs from walmart of Mobil 1 European blend. The tech put about 7.5 quartz (1 full jug and 2.5 quartz from the other).

would the extra 1/2 quart of oil cause any damage to the engine?

You'll be fine but don't make a habit of it. The check control system will warn you if you've gone >max.
