2015 spotted e350 in miami?

i was driving home and i saw this black and white car with no emblems, so i got a little closer and saw that it was a proto type, i followed these 2 guys and they pulled to the side cause they saw me following them, it was these 2 german guys and i asked them what type of car is this? and they could barely speak english but they said a "white and black car" looked to me like the new E series, sorry i know this is off topic but i thought it was interesting

I didn't know they did the prototype testing in the USA. That's pretty cool!

Thats strange if they are doing prototype testing, Don't see much sense in shipping a "top secret" prototype to miami for testing. Seems like it would have to change hands a few times too many, maybe a local shop that is doing their own performance and body kit for the current e350?

it couldnt be a body shop because when i pulled up next to them the whole interior was covered, when the guy went to lower his window he had to pull up some leather covering the door, and i saw an led stripe on the actual headlight which was pretty cool but im almost positive it was an e class because l looked up the renders and it looks just like one

There are prototypes all the time on Alligator Alley. If I'm not mistaken, there is a test track just off the Alley towards the Naples side. I've seen a lot of Chrysler and Ford prototypes, but they are always going the opposite way and by the time I see them it's too late to take a picture.

Edit: Here's the track. That's a loooooooong straight: https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=...5ccbc2aee44971

That makes sense since they are american, well Chrysler is kind of american… and they probably are running tests in high humidity, just wouldn't think German companies would test over here.

in one of the pictures i see the signature quad exhaust tips that come equipped standard with most of the new amgs now... and you said it was quick as sh!t so my guess is that it was the 2015 E63 or E65... if its a e65 then we have met the F10 M5 killer lol
