Numbers are in by Wedge for the hexon

I think it's safe to say the new Stage 2+ turbos should be called the RR700's. For a stock frame turbo, they truly move a lot of air and spool super quick. Unfortunately I think I'm hitting a limit with my stock cat-back exhaust. I don't know anyone else that is making over 600 whp on stock exhaust. I also had a plug going bad and couldn't push it any harder due to misfires. Not every dyno session goes as well as you would like for it to go. We were shooting for 700 whp, but... I honestly believe there is another 50+ whp to be had with a good set of plugs, more time for tuning VANOS, upgraded exhaust, and upgrade hot side charge pipe. Only a matter of time & money... Special thanks to Jason Oefelein @ PSI Portland Speed Industries for all your support. Also want to thank Andy Divers @ AD Engineering for helping with customizing the ADE FMIC to work with my TFT up pipe. Andy also did my Haltech PS1000 install and setup the Port Injection tables to allow for an increase in injector duty cycle based on rail pressure. For a small shop, Todd Cope and Andy Divers make some really cool stuff. Hats off to you guys.... Last but not least, my family for putting up with me especially my wife. And to all of my friends who have to listen to me brag about my toys not to mention my smart comments.... I'm a lucky guy to have such great friends and family. ~Wedge |

Similary modded is a bit broad.
If he had a upgraded hot side charge pipe he probably would of made the same power but on 2psi less boost or another 5-10 hp and wtq at 28psi. If he had an average intercooler the wgdc would have been higher and might take off 10 or more hp and wtq from the original. |
