Quick photos of 2 335s. E90 and f30
Took a brake from work and my buddy and I parked together. Took a few shots. Does the f30'body style make the e90 dated?

Secondly, what F30 really does, it makes E90 look distinctively "Euro". F30 looks like a heavily "Japanised" version of 3 series. Whether one should consider this "Euro" look as "dated", is a matter of personal preference. I don't know about you, but once F30 was revealed, the LCI E90 went significantly up in price in my eyes. |

cool shots, i do think the f30 makes the e90 looked dated, but they still look great imo
maybe in your eyes, personally i believe it drove the price down on e90s lci or not, a complete redesign will always do that. If I had my choice i would take an f30 everyday over an lci e90 but that may just be me |

The non LED tails on the pre LCI E9X looked dated compared to the LED tails of the LCI E46. Why they went backwards, i dont know. The nose of the F30 is distinctive but from the front wheel back the profile of the car is not much different than the E90 either. What I don't care for on the F30 is that from behind at a distance, it is virtually identical to an F10. I always appreciated the distinctive differences between model types in the previous lines, where only subtle similarities or styling queues tide the lineup together.

I think the e90 has a very pure look which I like. The f30 looks more like a 5 series, big but technologically advanced. It's like a scalpel compared to a chainsaw.

Not really a fair comparison.
A metallic blue E90 with M-Sport would make that silver E90 look dated too. A newly detailed E90 with the same color and trim (M-Sport) wouldn't look out of place next to that F30. |

In your specific comparison, yes. If it was next to an M Sport E90 LCI probably not. The F30 M Sport compared to a pre-LCI E90 is night and day.
