still I gotta tell u, there's people who only give pros when they see a photoshoot and watch that everybody nod but can't decide on their own if they are to like or not without other people's prior approval. for example, the m5 bumper on the e92 is a mod everybody liked but I am sure that if someone did it on his own and showing the process, like you are, the haters would have a fest day. I really hate that hypocrisy from those narrowminded "enthusiasts" that think that anything that isn't made by bmw themselves is bad looking and in bad taste. anyways, keep up the good work my mate
yea.. still working on the x6 rear.. but i got a x5 front... that im also thinking of puting in the back..

that start button is looking rough though... i think you should either put gloss white vinyl over it (to match exterior) or glow-in-the-dark vinyl... ^__^ or just boring ol' black... lol

I have a lot of respect for the time and work that goes into this. But cannot for the life of me understand why. Props for the craftsmanship though!

Any updates? Love seeing the DIY stuff in this thread.

How hard are the headlights to work on? I'm tempted to crack them open and play around with using some Cree LEDs attached directly to the ends of the angel eyes, or just dropping replacement rings in there, but I'm terrified of ruining my headlights.

E92 headlight are super easy. E90 are a pain.
I did just buy some f30 headlight to experiment. Will start as soon as they arrive.

Cool, thanks. I'm going to have to see if there's any way to cheaply source a busted set of E92 headlights to experiment with.
