Carl, I found that pretty much any SE phone will work 100% the newer Nokias are a nightmare. Some of them pair OK, some will transfer address book but I couldn`t find one to support SMS.

I didn't think ANY phone supported SMS via the bluetooth interface.

The Nokia 6230i displays SMS on the Prof Sat Nav screen on the E46 (does on mine )

I've never tried sending one via Bluetooth though. SMS is not a feature I find useful.

So will a new k850i Sony work as this seems to be a nicer phone than the older N95

I give you my 320D and you give me your 330i

My iPhone will work in the 330i and your 6230i will work better in my 320D
