Please help me and donate to Cancer Research UK in aid of Dryathlon 2013!

Ah, lovely lovely Beer.

I definitely drink too much at the moment. I know some of you (especially the Northern lot? )might scoff considering I can usually “only” manage the 7 or 8 of an evening, and I don’t even register on the radar of certain RockIt's of the world! But the issue isn’t so much the binging, more that now; It’s every night. Without fail really. For a good long while..

So I’m going to kick off 2013 by going dry for a month. This does also include me and Naomi’s Anniversary so is legitimately going to be a mean old nut to crack. But we’re both committed to having a go (She’s got her own page, and is annoying her own contacts and colleagues! )

It also of course goes to a very good cause. Cancer Research UK is a charity I doubt anyone could have issue with giving a few bob to – so, sure. Dryathlon. Let’s have a try.

I’ve kicked things off with a £20 donation to myself just to show willing, and really hope you can give a few quid to help me reach my target and support two worthy causes: Saving Dave’s liver and giving some money to a great cause.

Lastly,
In addition to the above message regarding Dryathlon, I'd also like to add that I'm very aware the impact Cancer has had on several people who frequent this forum. I hope that gaining some extra money for a good cause goes down well - and let me know if I can help at all with anything you are working towards or else just let me give you my best wishes from both myself and Naomi!!!

Good for you and good luck

. Do this myself every year though not for charity just up lose and weight and prove to myself I can do without the booze. Is a good competition when you both do it
