The brushes should be immediately rinsed off after use. The water/brake dust/wheel cleaner mixture on them will rinse off easily as long as it doesn't sit too long.

Take into account most places have microfiber specific detergents. Detailedimage.com carries a couple different types (I prefer Micro-Restore myself: http://www.detailedimage.com/DI-Micr...09/1000-ml-S1/ ). A local option is purchasing a product like Tide Free. This is a laundry detergent with no fragrances or color. The option is yours, but the most important thing is to take very good care of your microfiber.
From experience, I've found expensive towels are often more soft and much more durable than cheaper ones. Regardless, make sure to take care of everything you have.

A lot of online vendors carry some very nice towels, but they're a waste if you don't plan on caring for the correctly.

Head's up on that: I like to run a quick hot cycle with a little bit of vinegar in it prior to washing my good mf towels. NEVER use fabris softener or dryer sheets.

best thing i can say is when you wash with lack of light is clean in even strokes , kinda line in a pattern going up , down what ever you like. so like this you can get the whole car.

I see the question was asked a week ago, but I wanted to chime in as someone who almost ALWAYS washes at night. See, I live outside Phoenix, which means it's 115 during the day, and I couldn't handle doing things in that weather (plus the water/soap would dry really fast). So I got used to doing it at night and continue to do that even in the winter (when it's about 60). Waxing in the summer is tricky -- I wash the car Friday night, then let the paint cool in the garage overnight, so I can wax it in the morning.

I wash my car at night during the summer. It's too hot so I prefer the early evenings or many times after 8:00 PM.
