Matte Black Vs Gloss Black Front Kidney Grill

Everyone wants matte black, doesn't give the emphasis the grill frame needs...I would rather go with chrome grill or glossy black or hyper black My personal favorite is chrome frame with hyper black grills
Anyhow I'm just saying think outside the box...do something different.

i prefer the matte black grills just because i like the contrast against the white paint

I still think that the gloss black looks best. Give a sporty look and still has that finish to match the gloss of the paint. Matte gives a meaner look but always thought the matte black looked unfinished or weathered, like black trim that had gone through a few too any winters but that is just my opinion and it doesnt reflect the opinions of management.

does anyone have comparison pictures of black shapphire with
a) matte black kidney grill b) glossy black kidney grill I am waiting to order my grill and painted reflectors asap from bimmian.com but am faced with a decision that is hard to make without seeing the two side by side |

i just got the shiny grille, i think the matte black one looks a little smaller and the shiny just looks fresher

i have a cheapo matte from ebay on AW. thinking of gloss though, just dont want the clips to rip off the bumper connections by constant swaping.

To everyone painting there grills Gloss Black...Are you painting just the outer part black (ie what was chrome) and leaving inside slats matt? Or are you guys painting whole lot gloss?
