COs and Corner Balancing, + misc question

Hey guys, wondering if I could get your opinion on a couple of things:

I just had my KWv2s installed, and now I would like to get the alignment done post-install. however, someone recommended that I should have corner balancing done as well.

So, given that I AM NOT tracking the car, is corner balancing necessary? If I didn't have it done, will it negatively impact the suspension (ie. wrt wear)?

Also, the same dude told me that the KWs are the WORST to drive around in the winter vis a vis corrosion with salt, etc. I have the "inox line" KWV2s....what are your thoughts on this? As of right now, my bimmer is also my winter car, and we get a lot of snow up here in Toronto. Now that I have the COs installed, should I be considering parking it and grabbing a beater, or would you say I'm fine with the KWs. I got the KWs on the premise that they were amazing COs but also quite corrosion resistant!?!?.

Thanks guys,

Marty

And bear in mind, I did search before posting, but my question isn't with respect to handling, but with wear on suspension. Thanks again dudes...

The main concern is the treads and the collars over time and with exposer to the elements of winter filth the can rust. Run a search for Winzer Tekwax Rust Proofing Spray it should do the job. This is an issue for any coilover.

Although Im not a talented driver...and I doubt I could tell the difference between a corner balanced car and one that wasnt, I had it done. I think its just the final step in doing a coilover install "right".

SGXi, I did read that, but after that dude was telling me that ?KWs are the worst, I was like, WTF? But I'll just get some rustproofing spray, I guess. Or I'll park it, lol.....
