Long story short but they went in to reattach the two outer ligaments of my left ankle. Following surgery I've had severe complications, come to find out it was due to a really bad deep infection in the ankle from surgery #1 that went septic. Bad, bad, super scary stuff. They rushed me into emergency surgery on Tuesday and I've been in the hospital since. Fortunately between their clean out and the HEAVY doseage of meds they've had me on, I was cleared to go home today. Still have a PICC Line in (if you don't know what that is, look it up... I almost passed out when they put it in

) for some heavy duty antibiotics for the next 4-6 weeks. Biggest bummer was that they had to reverse the first surgery because of how bad the infection was

But the infection is all that matters right now. We'll worry about the ligaments later. Per Doc's orders, I'll be on bed rest for the next couple of weeks. So you may see me around these parts a bit more for now

New to this thread and live in Hinsdale. Looking forward to spring and upcoming meets. New tires and wheels are going on next week and I'm currently having issues installing some m3 replica side skirts if anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate.

I'm getting way stir crazy guys. Wound up having ankle surgery last month, then had some major complications ( i.e.: bad bad infection in the ankle) and had to go back in for emergency surgery to get rid of the infection. In doing so, they had to reverse the first surgery so I'm still gonna be left with a bum ankle after all is said and done. It's a bummer but at least I'll still have both feet.

All that to say, I've been house bound for a little over a month and I'm REALLY looking forward to getting outside to drive in some nice weather, meets, and track days. It's feeling looooooong overdue
