It grew on me, I wanted blue initially, but the car with my desired options was grey. Good color and it doesn't swirl! Would love to repaint the car Monte Carlo Blue if I was given the option!

Space grey is one of my favorite colors. Looks gorgeous on the E92 M3 with the carbon fiber roof. I like it better than my SGM.

Thanks to all who responded!
I have owned the car for 2.5 days and it has grown on me a lot already. I am falling in love with it I have the black interior too btw. I like the walnut polished dashboard. Gives it class and makes it look luxurious. The only thing is the 2 large "white" plastic inserts in the front bumper that don't look good at all IMO. What is the purpose of those things (fins)? Can they be removed, or should I paint them grey or black? Are they just there for looks? Maybe the color has faded. They are off-while now.. What color are they supposed to be? I noticed them on a 2012 model in the lot, but they didn't look white like mine.. more like the body color. Harry |

Are you talking about the square things on the front bumper infront of the headlights? Those are washers; they squirt windshield washer fluid onto your headlights every 3 stalk pushes. They're supposed to be the same colour as the car.

I have a black w/red interior, and prefer a space grey w/red anytime.

I think he's talking about the wind deflectors at the bottom of the car next to the fog lights.

I got a black 335i Touring but really wish I had got Space Grey. It's an awesome colour. If she continues not to like the colour, buy her some diamonds. |

I'm not really sure how they are attached to the bumper as I don't have an LCI e92 but I'm pretty sure you can remove it. Maybe someone can find you a DIY for that or you can just mask off the entire area and either spray paint it or plastidip it black. Edit* I found you a link to a DIY to remove them. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28099

Yeah my car has them hahah. I'm pretty sure the e90 335i have them, but the e92/e93 335's don't.

Mine doesn't, but I have M-Sport. Mine doesn't even have the headlight washers, lol.

It is my favorite - I like the midnight blue too. Unfortunately I settled for silver last year as it was the only 328 with the winter package available. Wish I had held out, silver shows everything and to me space gray just looks much nicer.

Just plasti-dip it instead of removing it. It's easy as pie.

Thanks guys! Much appreciated.
I have a 2011 335i Xdrive E92 and it has those "wind deflectors" in the bumber next to the fog lights as shown in 1 of the pics above by StevenY. They are discolored and look almost white. I think the guy that owned this car had it parked facing the sun all day and they probably got faded. The one in the pic looks much better and still match the body color. Do those really help with anything? I will most likely get them painted. They look weird right now with the yellowish white color. I wonder if most people remove them. Even painted, I don't know if they look right on the car. They look out of place.. Maybe they come with the Sport Package? I have the cold-weather package, Sport and Premium packages, but those are the norm packages most cars have. My favorite feature on this car is "increased speed limiter" (to 160mph I believe) I was able to hit 141mph with my older Integra GSR (had an extra 25whp) about 10yrs ago and that was a great adrenaline rush. Very stable with aftermarket suspension, Koni double-adjustable shocks, coilovers, polyurethane bushings throughout, and lowered 1.5". Just excessive wind noise. I remember thinking if the windshield will hold up since the top speed of a stock GSR was 134 I look forward to 150+ with the 335 some day |

Wow nice pics! They look like the were done by a professional.
Oh great looking car too I am convinced. I will show this thread to my wife when she gets here in a few minutes. And NO she is not getting diamonds. That's 5yrs away on our 25th anniv. I am almost broke after spending almost $36K on this car with tax and fees. She will have to wait. Funny thing is I picked it up on her Bday, hehehe But she got a new Accord a few months ago. I told her that was her Bday and Christmas present and everything else for the entire year |
