Hi guys i have been coding my E60 fine recently i brought a E93 my cable doesnt seem to connect to the E93 says no response from ECU in inpa

i tried looking online some said i needed to unsolder in 7-8 i have fitted a switch but still no luck

is there anything else i need to do on my cable to connect it to the E93 it works on E46 E60 fine

if not i seen few cables on ebay il post the links which one of these will be ideal for my 06/07 E93 and newer cars like 2011

Anyone know if my cable can be modifed to work?

My cable has a blue transparent head and silver see through cable

The blue circuit board is a pure indicator that you purchased a cable that is defective and doesn't work. eBay sellers are still selling them unfortunately but no matter what u do it will never connect.

Hi sorry buddy mine has a green circuit board not blue

but blue casing on the curcuit board i read the chip on mine is a FTDI FT232RL

Does explain anything regarding cable type
