Not again Give it time. It will improve.

Give it some time. It will get better. I had the same reaction that you did when I first got my car flashed. It does need time to adapt. Post back in about a week or two and then let us know what you thing.

Have fun with your new tune. I know I am.

I am not complaining about the power. I am talking about the throttle response being very different.

I got so dissappointed too, and actually took it back to the shop. I was convinced something was wrong. Not any more. You need the lower end dumbed down a bit with this much power, otherwise it will be hard to drive at say 5-10mph in town. Get on the gas it will light up the tires.

Thats what I was refering to was the throttle response. It is very different over stock at first but does get better.

No Dyno yet. Don't even know where there is one and how much$$$ I have to pay.

My butt dyno loves the Tune now and thats all that matters. Data is data, but its the expirience I appretiate. That said, I'll dyno it if I know of a reliable accurate dyno that I can use and compare to everyone else's results.

The only accurate dyno in North America is located in the Republic of California, dyno elsewhere at your own peril.

Yes the throttle response is different now, especially down low. Better, in my opinion, because the car doesn't awkwardly lunge forward when you don't want it to. You'll get used to it, or forget about it once you get to hammering the gas.

Wow. I am getting 27.8 mpg right now and driving hard. I wonder if my mpg guage is off. Will see what dinan does to that in 10 days...

Is it possible that Dinan remapped the exhaust flap in the driver's side? I mean, it's controlled electronically and is supposed to open under certain circumstances, maybe they decided to open it for allowing more of a freeflow? I'm just guessing, but I now notice both are open after the flash.

Ummm, are you sure you are not looking at your avg speed? Unless you are forever going down hill, you will not get anything better than 24 (and that's if you drive like a grand ma and never boost).

Not quite...I drove from San Francisco to LA the other day, down I-5, at 80mph (cruised controlled), and was getting 27.6 mpg for the whole trip, until I started racing an E55 AMG through the grapevine, hitting 110 in some spots. By the time I got to my destination, I had averaged 25.5 for the trip. Of course, I am totally stock...

I average close to 30 mpg on the highway. Florida is flat.

Sweet...that's pretty good, especially for a place with warm-ish temps as well, and I assume you don't drive 55-65 all the time. It was about 80 during my trip, and MOST of it was flat also (Cali Central Valley).
